Overall, I think this book was a bit clique and too in-your-face regarding Raven's amnesia, as well as messages about homosexuality feminism, and struggling as a teenager. Many every characters only have one belief or personality trait to them, making them bland and uninteresting. What really threw me off, however, is the amounts of realiatic witchcraft put in this book. Somehow I didn't notice or care as a kid watching the old TV show that her father was a demon, but my morals have changed since then. Some positive aspects of the book are Raven's personality is the same as you remember (with some character development), and the art style is gorgous! It was written by the fans, for the fans.

The art is wonderful, and its style and colour are really fitting. However, I found the story rather flat. Feels like the characters were missing personality, and it lacked emotional gravity (considering the main character just recently lost her mom and her memory). The writing felt rushed and a bit messy. The magic system of this story was just poorly handled. As a Raven and Teen Titans fan, I was primed to love this, but I was just underwhelmed. 2.5 stars

AMAZING!!! Absolutely loved this new storyline for Raven! I was a huge Teen Titans fine on cartoon Network growing up & tbh Raven was one that I grew into loving so much. I feel like a lot of young people can relate to her a lot, especially the emotional struggles she faces on the daily & learn that it's ok to go through the bad times - sometimes it's necessary in order to get to the good. I've also been following the artist Gabriel Piccolo since his "365 Day of Doodles" days & so happy to see his beautiful artwork on the pages. DEFINITELY recommend for more readers, especially fans of Teen Titans/Raven to check this comic out!
