I only rate books when I'm highly infuriated by it or deeply thrilled. This was the former. Good plot to begin with but very farfetched when it concluded to why Amber sought Judi to pay her back. Not buying it! *Spoiler Alert*- Just how old was she when her sister was with David? Also Judi's obsession with Fiona was not tied up well, Henry's spending which we find out why but his story just written off for that confrontation with Amber. Unfortunately it was a let down but Slater's way of telling a story is gripping, keeps you hooked to the end.

What a waste. I was looking forward to a great ending but was left feeling incomplete. This story completely fell flat with me. A domineering matriarch that suffers from Munchausen with a superiority complex? Really? I guessed that by chapter 2. These characters are so underdeveloped it's a shame. No more reads by this author for me. šŸ¤®šŸ‘Ž

Halfway through book, for some reason I lost download and it was replaced by another book (Blink) by same author. Google help line was unable to fix. Book was reimbursed. Google said problem was probably with publisher. Won't be buying any other book from this publisher
