Second to None was well written, with some angst, steamy and heart warming with characters who were easy to relate to who I quickly fell for. From the first chapter I was hooked on Maddox Nelson and Josephine(Josie) Reynold’s second change at love story. Their history is complicated and they will need to come to terms with the past if they are to have a chance at happiness.

Second to None is the third book in the Coastal Chronicles series.. This can be read as a stand alone. However, reading the previous books gives more insight to the characters that come along in this book.. Second to None is the story of Josie and Maddox, told both in past and the present from Josie's POV. Josie and Maddox story spans over a period of 17 years.. About the author

K.A. Linde is the USA Today bestselling author of the Avoiding Series, Wrights, and more than thirty other novels. She has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Georgia, was the head campaign worker for the 2012 presidential campaign at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as the head coach of the Duke University dance team.
