About this ebook

Anna Rice is avoiding a coworker's advances when she encounters enigmatic John Stone at a trendy London bar. With his impeccable suits, salt-and-pepper hair and suave demeanor, John is unlike any of the boys Anna has dated in the past: he's definitely all man. It's not long before Anna is head over heels in love, and experiencing out-of-this world erotic dreams.

Reporter Mimi Leblanc is wary of her best friend's latest romance. There's just something about John... But nothing Mimi digs up about him can deter Anna. Determined to protect Anna, Mimi continues her investigations—and what she uncovers about John is the last thing she ever imagined. But perhaps even more shocking is her own growing attraction to him...

There is a slight supernatural element in this book that I didn't expect. Not sure why people rated it poorly for that reason, a little research on the book would have avoided their error in purchasing. It kind of reminded me of an episode of The Outer Limits. I wouldn't have bought it had I known about the supernatural aspect in advance but I'm glad I did. I am a little more open to those kind of books now. Not a literary masterpiece by any means but it held my interest and it was definitely unpredictable

Where to start...good read Burke story line confusing at times. Ended with a cliff hanger and no mention of a closure book. WTF....They all live in say purgatory for what reason. Kill him axaar and done with the story. VERY DISAPPOINTED OF NOT ENDING THE STORY!!!!! WON'T READ ANY MORE OF HIS BOOKS!!!
