Julian Hawthorne (22.06.1846–21. Juli 1934) war ein amerikanischer Schriftsteller, Journalist und Sohn des Schriftstellers Nathaniel Hawthorne und der Schriftstellerin Sophia Peabody. Er schrieb zahlreiche Gedichte, Romane, Kurzgeschichten, Krimis, Essays, Reisebücher, Biografien und Novellen. Als Journalist berichtete er für das New York Journal u.a. über den Spanisch-Amerikanischen Krieg.
