EVANS is the series editor of Wesleyan's Early Classics of Science Fiction series and professor of French at DePauw University. He is also the managing editor of Science Fiction Studies. STANFORD L. LUCE is professor emeritus of French at Miami University in Ohio. JEAN-MICHEL MARGOT is recognized worldwide as an expert on Verne and is a past president of the North American Jules Verne Society.
