Lots of repetition on the same idea, but repetition is good, so no biggie. The idea is basically this: Think good thoughts and your subconscious mind will deliver the essence of those thoughts. This book does use a bit of religious language which is fine. If you're atheist or believe in another religion other than Christianity it OK, this book won't offend. The word God or Christ or Jesus is just another work for Universe or Energy or whatever you decide it to be. Decent book.

This 'LoA' book takes a more scientific approach and provides insights on the inner working of the mind – for self-growth, and explains other related topics too. It motivates you but does not excite you with false claims and exaggerated accounts. I love how the author does not talk in the air but discusses in detail the 'techniques' to impress upon the subconscious. This book is subtle yet powerful. Whether you accept all at face value or not, this book will leave you thoughtful.

Trust in God...but at the same time earn an honest living through hard work. NEVER sit around expect miracles.

About the author

A native of Ireland, Joseph Murphy (1898 — 1981) was a prolific and widely admired New Thought minister and writer, best known for his motivational classic, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, an international bestseller since it first blazed onto the self-help scene. His pamphlet How to Attract Money first appeared in 1955, and likewise entered many editions. Murphy wrote widely on the auto-suggestive and metaphysical faculties of the human mind and is considered one of the pioneering voices of affirmative-thinking philosophy.
