China is the owner of capital, they use capital to create jobs; capital is the owner of USA, usa citizen has no pay rise for the past 40 years. USA will fall. Simply because the invisible hands help companies accumulating fortune and government abandones its citizen. Air flight is safer than cars, simply because of data in blackbox and its cumbersome engineering. Where is your engineering? my dear governments and economists. you're aware that not professionally facing your transparency is equivalent to corruption.

Stiglitz is a Nobel Prize–winning economist and the best-selling author of People, Power, and Profits: Progressive Capitalism for an Age of Discontent; Globalization and Its Discontents Revisited: Anti-Globalization in the Age of Trump; The Price of Inequality; and Freefall. He was chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers under President Clinton, chief economist of the World Bank, named by Time as one of the 100 most influential individuals in the world, and now teaches at Columbia University and is chief economist of the Roosevelt Institute.
