It's the thirteenth f**king book. You can stop reintroducing characters. If no one knows who Ridmark or even Mara is they deserve to go back to kindergarten. Overall the best-worst book series I've read all year. Please, have your books proofread or just bounce it around for the good of all that is holy.

Absolutely adored this series and was saddened by its ever approaching conclusion. Therefore news of the sequel series 'Sevenfold Sword' beginning so soon after finishing this one made me happier than seeing Ridmark, Calliande, Antenora, Gavin and rest, get the ending they deserved!! I would love to be able to get the entire series on paperback for my collection as i've been reading the ebook versions and prefer physical copies by far. If you use a small selection of your readers/fans like some authors to proof read/sample etc I would offer up my entire village to the void..... dangerous i know but if it worked out, I could always ask Caius and Calliande to help me repent and reject the shadow of Incariel so that i may walk in the light of the Dominus Christus once more.

Frostborn was never an amazing series but it was always enjoyable. Its plot and characters were fairly standard fantasy stock, though the exploration of grief was intriguing. Through ups and downs, though, the series kept you engaged and this final book is a fitting end to the series. Simplistic, perhaps, but worthy.
