There was so much about this book to like. I found the characters to be rich, real , Herbalife I could hear the characters in the story that's they were talking. I could see them. I could almost smell the Aroma from the hotel the first night they cooked for the officers. However, there was that one storyline that almost wrecked like a Harlequin romance yes. You know, Girl Meets Boy, some misunderstanding, and in the end boy gets girl. But in this book, I'm glad he did

A great story about a family in WW1. The trials and tribulations they go through with one painting offering hope. Many of us can relate to how the losses in our life had kept us together by one thing that we shared. Truly a wonderful experience as you place yourself in her shoes. Her love of family can be found in us today.

Wow, this is an amazing book. I was not expecting so much of it. I had a good working over of the feels. And now that it’s over, I don’t even know what to think of the roles some of the characters played. This is one of those stories that I’ll loose sleep thinking about at night.
