About the author

John Byrne, originally from Dublin, is a top cartoonist and teacher who has worked for many publications ranging from Private Eye to The Stage (the UK’s Variety), where he currently has a weekly column. He has published numerous other books in both the UK and the USA, including Learn to Draw Cartoons, Learn to Draw Comics and Drawing Cartoons That Sell! for Collins. He has also presented live TV cartoon lessons and is a former tutor at the National Museum of Cartoon Art in London.
