About this ebook

Book 3 in the bestselling 3-book international political thriller series that has sold over 475,000 copies!

“One of the most entertaining and intriguing authors of international political thrillers in the country. . . . His novels are un-put-downable!”
—Steve Forbes, editor in chief, Forbes magazine

“Guaranteed sleep loss for the reader of this can’t-put-down novel.”
World magazine

As he prepares to deliver the State of the Union address, the president of the United States is convinced the Islamic State is on the run, about to be crushed by American forces once and for all. But New York Times foreign correspondent J. B. Collins tells the president he’s dead wrong.

With the Middle East on fire, the Israeli prime minister dead, and Amman in ruins, Collins fears a catastrophic attack inside the American homeland is imminent. He argues that only an all-out manhunt to capture or kill Abu Kahlif—the leader of ISIS—can stop the attack and save American lives. But will the president listen and take decisive action before it’s too late?

If you're hungry for middle school level literature that's riddled with the author's politics, an impossible plot that would make Bruce Willis blush, and a healthy serving of out-of-context scripture and bulls**t soup, all served up by a one dimensional, terribly narrated protagonist, then get ready to feast. Truly awful writing and a bizzare vehicle for the author's simplistic outlook on sociopolitical issues, this book is nothing short of a dumpster fire.

I do enjoy Joel Rosenberg's fiction, I really do. And I have read most of his novels. But his books are starting to get repetitive. The protagonist is finally in a good point in his life, terror strikes, he goes into action, he comes to terms with his faith, with the ending being the only variable. It would be interesting to read a book or series with a different angle. Having said all of this, I read this book in just a couple of days, couldn't put it down. And I never would have imagined it ending like it did, very suspenseful. I think if this had been the first series I had read I'd give it 4 or 5 stars. But until the final 40 pages or so I kept feeling like I had read this before.

This is the best so far, just waiting for these events to happen like in the previous books. God bless you.
