I took me a while to get invested in this one, but I did enjoyed some chapters more than others 🙈. Also liked to see how some scenes connected with scenes from the Origin 📗 in the LUX SERIES. 🤔 But I was hoping to get more scenes with Sin, Lore and Lotho 😒 If he is the leader of the Arum in the LUX SERIES how come he wasn't mentioned here not even once!

This novel is a spin off of the OBSIDIAN series, but of an adult nature (meaning it has sex scenes in it). This is Serena and Hunter's story of how they met and got together. If you want to know more about the story, you need to read the OBSIDIAN series. It will probably make more sense to do so.

I didn't expect a Hunter's story, so I was pleasantly surprised! But I think we need a story from the next generation! Maybe Dawson's little girl could fall in love with an Arum!
