I was a big fan of Honeybourn’s first book ‘Westley James ruined my life’ so much so that I’ve re-read the book several times. When I found out that she wrote more I HAD to read ‘When life gives you demons’ and I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. I like how the book was a light and easy read since the book was mainly plot-driven. Shelby, the main character, was really likeable and her internal thoughts can get humorous. I really like this book for its plot (the major battle at the end of the book was really cool! ) and the chemistry between all of he characters. Even though I felt that some of the conflict was cleared up too quickly and the romance was kinda underdeveloped between Shelby and Spencer but cute nevertheless, I would still recommend this book to anyone whose in for a cute and light read!
