About this ebook

From her appearances on 16 and Pregnant and then Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans’s life was put on display for all to see, and all to judge. Everyone thinks they know her, but what the audience can’t see runs deeper than what is left on the editing room floor.

What of Jenelle’s complicated life before her newfound fame? An overbearing mother. Erratic siblings. A father who didn’t seem to care. Though there was no camera to capture those difficult moments, there were, thankfully, a few well-kept diaries. Join Jenelle as she tells her story through the eyes of her troubled youth, taken from her memories that were scrawled across the pages of her own diaries.

I don't recommend this book to anyone, even if it was free I would tell you not to read it. It will fry your braincells. It's poorly written and some parts make absolutely no sense. she bashes her mother one minute and the next talks about how she was a great mother. She goes on about all the men shes slept with and drugs she's done. She's trash, her book is trash, don't waste your time.

It was okay. I didn't like the set up and the diary entries were kind of hard to read (since they're written long hand). The grammar was terrible in the typed part and got on my nerves. It was a decent look into the past decade of her life though. I wish it had been more of a memoir than a diary reflection.

I thought that this book revealed a lot about Jenelle without it being a pity party. I loved the raw nature of the writing and how she took ownership of her mistakes but at the same time stood up for herself. I love that she didn't write with herself as the "hero" all the time and play the victim card but rather showed the reader more facets of her life. It was interesting getting to know how and why she is the way she is. I am a huge TM2 fan and I was so proud to see how far Jenelle has come and now I am even more so. I feel like anyone could relate to her stories and I would recommend this book.
