I'm not normally one for self help books, but a business coach bought me a copy of this book. I read it in one night, and even went out and bought an electronic copy to allow me to keep it with me more easily. As the description says, this is not just another self-help and motivation tool. It takes a simple idea that most people already know. Yes it is a self-help book, but (To my eyes at least) it's not written in a self-help way. Self-help to me is more along the lines of showing you the door, but you have to find the key yourself. This is showing you the door, and giving you the key. Of course it's still leaving it up to you to use the key, open the door and walk through. But if you understand the concept of the book (And almost everyone should be able to) by the time you do walk through that door, you'll have already taken advantage of The Slight Edge.

There is a free version of this same book on here that has 290 pages. This paid version is only about 274 pages? I don't know what the real difference is, but I reccomend going for the free version with what seems to have more content...
