Nobody wants to read a pale imitation of the original Hellblazer. If you desired all the dark brilliance of the original series do not look here. It's like when Americans try and remake a British tv series. It just doesn't work.

I own the Hellblazer series and these two cannot be compared because they are two different beasts. I enjoy both. This series has great art and a great mix of action & storytelling. Do not read this expecting Hellblazer, picture it as a different but equally intriguing series and you'll enjoy it.

Almost as good as the original Hellblazer vol. 1. Truly a great character getting the guilty, bloody, 3 dimensional treatment that makes this character great.
