Ratings and reviews

Well this came recommended from r/romancebooks so I thought eh, the plot sounds really contrived, but why not. This is one of those books you'll finish in 2 days, feel meh about it, but still be looking forward to reading the next one. The writing style is a little young and conversational for my taste, and the dialogue feels stuffy and very similar across all the characters by the end. But those are really my only complaints. The MC is the typical "woman with a mind of her own" trope but she's likeable enough, and her powers add an interesting layer to her character and plot. The LI is also "typical OP vampire hot" and we all know that's not a bad thing when written correctly. This was a good attempt, but not great. All in all I'll try to finish the series because the author does a decent job getting you invested into their relationship. I hope book 2 keeps the action high and the romance ~*steamy*~

Another amazing book from frost just love the characters she makes them come alive she keeps you wanting more.I nearly cried in frustration when it ended then was relieved there was a second book. Definitely a must buy iv bought all her books and love each and every one. Absolutely an amazing author

This book was so good. I couldn't put it down. It grabbed my attention from the beginning and held me spellbound throughout. If you like alpha males, vampires, and a great story, buy this book, you won't be disappointed. I certainly wasn't and I am very hard to please.
