This is part two of the Rebel Queen duet and yes you need to read The Royal Arrangement first before reading this to understand the ins and outs of what is going on with Prince Heinrich Gustav Wilhelm Von Stratton, Crown Prince of Androvia & his consort Every McElroy. This is part of a trilogy that I actually started on part 2 (The Royal Arrangement) myself and part of a larger picture of books. This series of books is wonderfully full of well written intrigue, sexy scenes and yes kink. So know if you are not comfortable with heat in a book more on past because our author gives us lots of well written heat within a great story line. She also gives us characters that become so alive we are invested in their lives once the book ends to the point where I had to grab more books to know what happened to smaller characters later in the future.

The Rebel Queen by Jeana E. Mann is the second book in her Rebel Queen Duet . The full-length story of what happens next following on from The Royal Arrangement and our introduction to Everly and Henry. Well-written and well-paced this book was SOOOO steamy! The back and forth that Everly was experiencing about her emotions for Henry was not my favorite but I can't say, honestly, if I was ever fortunate enough to be in her stilettos that I wouldn't have the same doubts. While the premise of marrying a hot wealthy prince/soon-to-be king is NOT everyday normal the characters were still very real and well fleshed out. I am definitely a new fan of Jeana E. Mann and have already started reviewing her book list to see what I want to read next... Enjoy!

Oh,the chemistry was absolutely out of this world. Looking at the title and perhaps even the cover you would think this was a historical but nope it as modern-day as you get. Everly is married to King Henry and it is all fake. Yet behind closed doors that is where the real story is and it is hot kids and really good. The book was filled with intrigue, excitement, and really intense heat written in such a sophisticated manner it will blow your mind. This was an excellent book and one worth having in your collection. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
