This is a horror comic by Jazan Wild. It’s about a young kid who runs off from his friends and runs into an old house with a bunch of “Carny’s” (sp?) working on it. But they aren’t carny’s at all and Jacob is going to find that out the hard way. They give him a book, a magic book. And this book sends Jacob on an adventure that he will wish he hadn’t taken. This comic is well drawn, I like the artistry and style. However the writing seems, how do I say this, amateurish? The kid seems older to me the way he is drawn but the way he interacts with his mom and his friends makes him seem like a 6 year old. The writing just didn’t seem natural.

The author kept my interest steady through out the comic book, but I can't say I will be reading it again. I do however want to read the others in the series. For a free book, this is definitely worth the download!
