This has been a unique reading experience. I feel as if I've been inside Adrian's mind--getting to know him, the depth of his love for Nadia, the lengths he will go to shield her. The fact he draws on a friend's grief to support Nadia after his own death is remarkable. Adrian's notes and letters seemed to direct a scavenger hunt for both Nathan and Nadia. Many discoveries and insights were gained by these surviving spouses. A great read.

Hands down, one of the most powerful and emotional audiobooks I’ve ever listened to. I can’t imagine what it would be like to experience that kind of devastating grief. But with Jasinda Wilder’s writing, I did. I experienced every moment of their heartbreak and their healing. It was torturous, yet absolutely beautiful. No review I can write could ever do her books justice. You just need to go in blind and experience it for yourself.
