So far fetched, that it almost just wasn't even fun. This book's storyline is a mix between the movie aliens, gravity, and a few other cliche syfy books. I'm really sick and tired of love stories. Not everything has to be a love story. Honestly, I don't think that any of this plot line or storyline would've played out this way. There was way too much emotion behind a lot of the decisions being made. And I am so sick and tired of reading about 2 people having sex in space that I had to rip pages 192 to page 208 out of the book when I let my friend borrow it so that he would not have to deal with it. Hyperion was the same, Everything was fine until I had to sit through 20 pages of awkwud sex scenes every 2 chapter Stop making people fall in love, nobody wants to fall in love anymore. Every character in this book is highly unlikable. I didn't like a single one of the characters so I had to force myself to read this thing. Go to the Wiki page and just read the cliff notes.

Nothing original about this book. Seemed to copy terminology and ideas from Avatar and The Matrix and other space based movies/ books that we are familiar with.. no offense to those of you who liked it..

The author put a good book with plenty of thought behind the story line. If you enjoy good science fiction, you'll enjoy this book.
