james redfield is a fraud and a con-man. he has absolutely no interest in the evolution of this planet. this book is a trick and teaches nothing of any lasting or tangible value. when james redfield was offered exclusive information about events to unfold in the world, he refused to even acknowledge any of it, despite the claims made in his book about 'alignment' with other souls, events and progression of evolution. honestly, dont bother buying this book, there are true stories out there on kindle and elsewhere that will give you far better tools to cope and survive in the coming months and years than this airy fairy claptrap that is the result of over-ingestion of hallucinogens

If this book was published.... then anything at all can be published. Self-Discovery? Please...! The only revelation was that the time spent reading it will never come back! No plot, no character development, the writing is at a slacking 6th grade level. Not one original description. The real revelation would be if someone could please tell me how this book became a best seller... now that would be a revelation.

Simple read yet a profound message within it. After reading this book, you realize how important it is that we make a conscious effort to evolve into our higher self.

About the author

James Redfield is a writer. He was born on March 19, 1950 and grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. Redfield majored in sociology at Auburn University and then received a Master's degree in counseling. Redfield spent 15 years working as a therapist helping abused adolescents. He published The Celestine Prophesy and it has turned into a spiritual guide for the New Age. Redfield was awarded the Medal of the Presidency of the Italian Senate in 1997.
