About this ebook

Zoo was just the beginning. Now, the last humans on Earth are fighting for their lives in a dystopia where humans are prey.

The planet is still under violent siege by ferocious animals. Except some humans are evolving, mutating into a savage species that could save civilization . . . or end it.

This is an interesting and fast-paced continuation from the first book. I liked it, but because of the whole book shot thing, I think it wasn't as much my kind of thing. My understanding is that book shots are short books with just the action bits aimed for people who normally watch action movies instead of reading. It's a way to give reading to people who usually aren't readers. I'm a big reader so I'm more into full stories with the supporting details instead of just the action. Thus, I liked it, but it wasn't as good as the first book for me. In this story, the animals are still going crazy, but now it's also spreading to humans. It also ends in a creepy way that lets you know everything is not over and may even be worse than before.

Patterson does it again with this non stop action filled novel. You barely have time to catch your breath before things are spiraling out of control again!
