About this ebook

Alex Cross faces the most cunning, psychotic killer of his career in the blockbuster James Patterson novel that inspired a major motion picture.
Alex Cross was a rising star in the Washington, D. C. Police Department when an unknown shooter gunned down his wife in front of him. Alex's need for vengeance was placed on hold as he faced another huge challenge: raising his children without their mother.
Years later, Alex is making a bold move in his life. He has left the FBI and set up practice as a psychologist once again. His life with Nana Mama, Damon, Jannie, and little Alex finally feels like it's in order. He even has a chance at a new love.
Then Cross's former partner, John Sampson, calls in a favor. Now Cross must go on the hunt for the most cunning, psychotic killer he has ever faced. . . and it pushes him dangerously close to the breaking point.

I had just finished my second Harry Bosch novel and I wanted to switch it up and see if Patterson was as good as everybody says. This book was really good and reads more like a movie,so I can see why people might like this style better. It had a good story, excellent character development, and a ton of action. But I guess I just prefer Connelly's style

This is a really good story. I think the best of the series since "Along Came A Spider" and "Kiss the Girls". If you like the Cross Series then this is a must read. It finally answers a lot of questions about Alex and closes the story ark of his wife, Maria's, murder. I get why some people down rate some of these books though. If you haven't pit I'm your time with the previous books it would be difficult to connect all the dots. My advice? Start at the beginning with "Spider" or you'll wish you did.
