Ratings and reviews

I've read this almost every other year since it first came out. I now own it as epub and use FBReader and TTS to listen to it while I'm driving when I need a really good story. In my opinion, this is the best of the Avatar series. I'm not sure what book the negative reviews are about, but I'm thinking they're about book 3, not Prince of Lies. Either way, try the free sample and decide for yourself.

Excellent book. I had purchased the first three of the Avatar series at Audible on audiobook, but the narrator is absolutely terrible. She ruined the entire experience. I couldn't take a 4th without cutting my own ears off, so I bought the book in print and read it. I'm just sad at how much better I would have enjoyed the entire series had I just read them from the start.
