8/10 -Story 4/10- Editing Great writing, needs editing. There are quite a few instances where I've come across sentences where the author, I will assume, accidentally put the wrong word in the middle of a sentence (or was sabotaged by autocorrect), therefore distorting the content of the line. To the cursory reader these small discrepancies could be overlooked, whereas a bibliophile could be distracted by such. The author is very talented, knows how to develop their characters in a way that makes them relatable, and has a refreshing approach to writing in this style. Their editor needs to be more diligent when it comes to proofreading before a release.

I loved reading these books! The plotlines were woven throughout them very well, and the characters were all exceptionally well created. I only wish that there were more books in the series. I want more!
