Zero, his daughters, and ally, Alan Reidigger, fight for their lives in this suspenseful installment that eventually leads them to Cairo where a plan for peace in the Middle East is disrupted by Mr. Bright, a terrorist financier. Bombs and the ensuing chaos, including threats to the Vice President, close out the story with a continent separating Mischa and an injured Zero from Maya and Sara who are in seclusion, and with Alan in the custody of the CIA. An exciting ride that I’ve come to expect from Mr. Mars. I received an ARC in exchange for this review.

Gutted, got to the end and wished it wasn't. I think this is the best one of the series, well until the next one anyway. The story is fantastic, so much destruction. You really feel for all the characters. Roll on the next book in the series, can't wait.

Masterful, fast paced, full of surprises and unexpected plot twists. Once again we have multiple story lines skillfully intertwined. Throughout the book, one keeps wondering what will happen next and how will our heros survive. Another must read.
