Wow, congratulations for a great start to a new action thriller series. This first book of the Jacob Snow conflicted special CIA asset, with Jana Peters archaeologist series, hooks one into the narrative from the first page. We are introduced to two well developed intertwined new heros who put their lives on the line to protect the rest of us from terrorism. This very fast paced, enjoyable read is a must for those searching for a new action thriller!

Target One, the first installment of The Spy Game Series, follows the adventures of CIA agent and former Ranger, Jacob Snow. He finds himself pitted against The Sword of the Righteous, a terrorist society who has stolen an Egyptian relic containing a deadly secret. Enlisting the help of archeologist and Egyptologist, Dr. Jana Peters, the race is on to prevent a nuclear incident in the Suez Canal. The book is hard to put down the closer to the end the reader gets.

characters were more developed and connected with at the first book compared with Agent Zero first book. though if I compare both, I find agent zero is more...CIA I guess? like he has more knowledge beyond just physical combat, whereas Jacob snow is more into combat...though the fights are still gripping and screaming the excellent 3d action that is rare to find in books - like a movie. but still, I give this book 5 stars because it's still fabulously written. I wish there were more books written like how jack mars writes them. thumbs up for Jack Mars. 👍👍💯💯 but...but the only complaint I have is the plot. the plot isn't deep or intriguing enough to keep all the readers begging for the next book. but I guess since it's only the first book, the complaint can be held...for now. pls take note of this. Agent Zero and Luke Stone had more complex story plots right since half way through book 1 or even the first quarter.
