About this ebook

This beautiful gift edition of The Hobbit, J.R.R. Tolkien's classic prelude to his Lord of the Rings trilogy, features cover art, illustrations, and watercolor paintings by the artist Alan Lee.

Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely traveling any farther than his pantry or cellar. But his contentment is disturbed when the wizard Gandalf and a company of dwarves arrive on his doorstep one day to whisk him away on an adventure. They have launched a plot to raid the treasure hoard guarded by Smaug the Magnificent, a large and very dangerous dragon. Bilbo reluctantly joins their quest, unaware that on his journey to the Lonely Mountain he will encounter both a magic ring and a frightening creature known as Gollum.

Written for J.R.R. Tolkien's own children, The Hobbit has sold many millions of copies worldwide and established itself as a modern classic.

Who would buy this version? Buy the other one, it's $10. All that's different with this one is it has a fancy digital book cover.

An absolute magnificent read. "The Hobbit" is considered a admirable novel at it's time published and today's standards. The bold litture brings a outrageous structure of radical writings and textures to add flavorable progression to make the most sense of adventureous but, interesting at the same time; bold text structures, as well suppenseful litture...also a certain amount of efforts that the storyline takes place in the novel, throughout the novel. The layout and timeline of the storyline is absolutely phenomenal. The quality and it's radical revolution takes a huge difference between the structure of the book. The process has been a excellent experience; everything that takes place in the book, the storyline, the characters, the adventures... everything has been an interesting but truthfully & excellent experience thanks to J.R.R. Tolkien and the rest of his compassionate publications in the process of the releases Tolkien's books/novels. J.R.R. Tolkien is a phenomenal author! 🧠
