About this ebook

The official playscript of the original West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

It's been nineteen years since Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger saved the wizarding world, and now they're back on a most extraordinary adventure, joined by a brave new generation that's only just arrived at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son, Albus, struggles with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present collide, both father and son are locked in a race through time as they battle mysterious forces, all while the future hangs in the balance.

Based on an original story by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the complete and unabridged playscript of the award-winning West End production. This edition includes the final dialogue and stage directions of the original, two-part play, a conversation piece between director John Tiffany and playwright Jack Thorne, the Potter family tree, and a timeline of key events in the wizarding world leading up to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

One of the worst books ever written. I cannot believe she authorized this garbage. I think HP is one of the best series ever written, love them. This book should not be included. It depicts all your favorite characters as weak, ineffectual and very boring. It adds new characters which appear designed to be targeting a specific age group. The story was like a Family Guy episode if Family Guy had a terrible sense of humor. The only book as bad as this is the Star Wars book written for their first Disney movie, which became number 7 in the movies.

Wow... This was bad! I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter, but this book felt extremely clunky in terms of story, writing, character development, and the HP setting as a whole. Though it has a few sweet/funny moments and the two main characters are likeable, The Cursed Child still has an uneven story that's filled with idiotic twists and pacing issues. The old characters also felt like parodies instead of genuine people. Not recommended. 3.5/10

Don't read this or you will be confused. The entire book comes off as poor and weird all at the same time. If anyone has read harry potter and not seen the movies, you know immeadiatly something is wrong. Harry in this book is like another universe harry, the one whos been a complete airhead. Also if you read all the books this one right here doesn't even have a spot to be placed because it's that confusing, i know that this is suppose to take place after but it doesn't make sense.
