White male over 50, I love Kate and Curran's story, it is great but the world building is what does it for me. The strength of the characters and their interaction with other well enjoyed characters is a great thing. I haven't enjoyed a series as much or more so beyond David Webber's "Honor Harrington", series.These last two books which were an after thought are awesome, please give me more. I could tell by reading in the last few books of the official series you were trying to tie it off and it was well done but you could feel that it wasn't perfect. The last two books brought it back together and made it all make sense and showed us the future of characters we've invested in, thank you. There is so much new material to flesh out, it would be a crime if you didn't continue the story. As a bard we pay you to entertain us:) While your other series are really fun, I really want to hear about Kate, Curran, Conlan , Roland, Eri, Julie, Derek, etc...Thank you

Once again Ilona Andrews delivers! It has been too long and I've missed Kate Daniels so very much, it was an absolute pleasure to visit her and her world again. Every word in Magic Tides gave me hope that this will not be the last installment for Kate and Curran(fingers crossed,anyway!)

Kate gets called upon to find a kidnapped boy which brings her into close proximity with the Knights, the vampires and a possibly divine being while Curran and Conlan protect their home from a variety of creatures. Not full five stars because its only a novella (boo! Even if it is a long novella) and Kate and Curran are apart. But yay Hugh! This couple are an auto buy for me, and they just can't write fast enough to keep up with the Book Devouring Hoard clamouring for more.
