About this ebook

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a wholly original story of rage and revenge, of guilt and horror, and of love and loathing from bestselling and acclaimed author Holly Black.
Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown's gates, you can never leave.
One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.
The Coldest Girl in Coldtown is a wholly original story of rage and revenge, of guilt and horror, and of love and loathing from bestselling and acclaimed author Holly Black.

I came across this book & like most books i pick i picked it cause i liked the cover. & once again this book was amazing!!! I read it about an year ago & the first chapter had me hooked when the main character woke up after a night partying w her friends as the sole "alive" survivor. I don't want to give details but the description of that first chapter made you feel so scared for her dreading what was going to happen to her, her friendly ex, & this monster that was chained up came nightfall. It had me hooked & the book took me in so many different directions & emotions it was unexpected! & delightfully so... when I read the description -it was about vampires that lived among humans but it got better these vampires were caught & put in what they called cold towns where whole towns were barricaded in & they could exist/live & pretty much do as they pleased in these walls w humans volunteering to live there too & be their live blood banks was a totally different take on a vampire story. A year later I still think of this book & look once in awhile to see if Holly Black comes out w a sequel but none so far - still hoping though!!! This book made me a huge fan of Holly Black. About to read tithe by her now & I'm sure it won't disappoint... LOVED THIS BOOK- READ IT! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY...

First of all, I bought the book as a joke because of its name. Second, it was actually an okay book. The sentence structure was incoherent at times and words were spelt wrong, but otherwise okay. The story also had alot of plot holes and tried to do too many twist, but the characters were interesting and diverse.

I'm not asking for a sequel, even though one would be pretty rad. Just give me some closure like I need to know what happens after this book. The open end kind of made me want to chuck my phone across the room.
