I think this book used fact myth and legend. That is what truly defines a great book when the author can so elegantly glide through fact and fiction without flaw

This is a really cute, well written story. Perfect summer reading for my preteen mermaid. 10/10

Hélène Boudreau writes fiction and non-fiction for children and young adults from her home in Ontario. Her debut middle grade novel, Acadian Star, was released last fall and was recently nominated for the 2009/2010 Hackmatack Children's Choice Book Award.
