I would recommend this one despite its deficiencies. It's strangely written and could have stood better proof-reading. It's also very short, more a booklet than a book. It could have stood more helpful examples. For a book that stresses the importance of staying positive, a lot of it (as the author might say) "comes off" as negative. There doesn't seem to be anything personal in it - when I was doing this, such-and-such happened and I learned that. It's more a series of homilies almost, do this, don't do that, always do something-or-other... for example don't give advice unless it's asked for because you probably get annoyed if people force advice on you. There's a lot of that kind of thing, said in short, snappy language, and a lot of it looks like good advice. You'll like that approach or you won't; you'll believe it's good advice or you won't. It does at least have the merit of being sufficiently concise that even busy people should have time to read it.
