I truly love educational, well-written but short and entertaining kids stories that hold the attention as well as can be expected of my 2 and 3 year old busy busy boys, especially ones about space and science topics...this one even taught mom (me) something and I spotted the 3 stars the next evening (even though it's nearly winter, no longer summer) :)

Lovely illustrations combined with a fun story and thoroughly researched scientific information - this is a jewel of a book for children interested in the stars and curious about the wonders of the universe.

Informative and sweet Through lovely illustrations, the author explains about the different summer stars and gives a sweet lovely message too. Sweet read for children.

About the author

Born 1958 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, I am currently living in Sidney, on Vancouver Island. I've been involved with amateur astronomy for over 25 years and have found it to be a very enriching activity. I hope my story will inspire children to wonder about the stars and instil a desire to learn more about the night sky.
