I really enjoyed the Bear novels Anvil of the Stars, Eon, Eternity, which I have re-read several times. But this book reads like it was written by an impostor. The more I read, the more confusing it gets. After reading Pandoras Star, this is a real let down!

I think Greg Bear is getting kind of cracked. this bok was super hard to read. Somehow I still finished it although it was painful.

Greg Bear is the author of more than twenty-five books, which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He has been awarded two Hugos and five Nebulas for his fiction. He is married to Astrid Anderson Bear, and they are the parents of two children, Erik and Alexandra.
