About this ebook

The perfect gift for fans of HBO's Game of Thrones—a boxed set featuring the first four novels!

George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series has become, in many ways, the gold standard for modern epic fantasy. Martin—dubbed the "American Tolkien" by Time magazine—has created a world that is as rich and vital as any piece of historical fiction, set in an age of knights and chivalry and filled with a plethora of fascinating, multidimensional characters that you love, hate to love, or love to hate as they struggle for control of a divided kingdom.

This bundle includes the following novels:
A GAME OF THRONES
A CLASH OF KINGS
A STORM OF SWORDS
A FEAST FOR CROWS

Something or some one changed it long after my purchase.... I originally purchased the box set, that was three thousand some odd pages long and all of a sudden it's become this song of crap and more crap at 722 pages. While I can flip forward of page 722 the program won't register the progress so if my screen resets for any reason then I get sent back to the last page of the last chapter of the first book page 722. Don't buy this! The books are a great read buy then one at a time though.

This ebook contains the 1st 4 volumes in the series. It comes as one long book of 3000+ pages. This somehow got screwed up tho and now only shows as 722 pages. You can manually flip past pg 722, but it won't save your place past that, and any attempt to navigate farther just brings you to page 722. That is not even the end of the first book. Emailed about it, haven't heard back.

Coming from a person that was interested in the show I decided to go out and see what the book was like. So I purchased this box set. Reading from the pov of the characters is always a method that thoroughly captures my interest, the plot twists and side stories are also great... However, sometimes the stories can be a little long and unnecessarily detailed. I.e. descriptions of everything the character wears and eats.
