Well written and very philosophical. I recommend it for strong readers who enjoy thinking and putting themselves in the shoes of others who are going through difficult times. Henry's dad has a saying: If you build your house far enough away from trouble, trouble will never come to find you. This seems to be true for most of Henry's family's life, until his brother is hit by a car and dies. Now trouble of all kinds--family trouble, friend trouble, trouble in his town and school--rushes into Henry's life. How can he survive it and make it through to the other side?

Very sad book. It's a matter of life and death. It has a little romance. In this book, the family goes through constant struggle when their oldest son, Franklin is dying after a sudden car crash. However, it does show strength. I reccommend to everyone. You will be touched.
