Gail Simone ends her brilliant run with the Amazon Princess and it`s a winner. There are creepy kids playing mind control games, a punch up with Power Girl and an invasion from space. What more more does a person need? Through it all Wonder Woman keeps her composure and shows empathy to the misguided souls who cross her path. This is why Simones run was so memorable- because she got Wonder Woman. Her characterization was more maternal than brutal, more reason the recklessness and more disappointment than destruction and it worked on every page.
