I didn't really care for the S.H.I.E.L.D. issue, but the rest of the book was very enjoyable. Amir's conversation with Bruno hit a little more close to home than I want to admit.

Kamala is amazing. This is a ground-breaking series for minorities, whether you're talking ethnicity or gender. I recommend this comic to any and all of my friends, family and coworkers. The artwork is lovely, the colors are gorgeous, the meaning and message behind it is wonderful. I really wish this run went for longer, but looking forward to more Kamala in the future.

Kamala is one of the best around. I don't like the art change in this volume. The lessons in the story are real, she's simply one of the best designed and written heroes.
