A good read. I still prefer the more grounded and low-scale style of the first few books more, but I think this volume has its own flavor that was extremely interesting to read. Mr. Omori's said that his desire was to write something that helps one feel how you do when you play a good RPG game, and this does the job well.

I first saw the anime for this and fell in love with it that I had to get the books. I have been reading both the Manga and novels and each one adds more information and background of this world. I would recommend to read the manga first then the novels that way each time you read one of them you get more information and discover something new and interesting.

Absolutely loved it. Wow. So the anime that is currently out covers the first 5 volumes, interesting. I am so in awe at how amazing this is written, I adore the detail. Sadly I must admit the anime showcased some of these scenes a little better
