What starts as another intriguing supernatural mystery that only Peretti can deliver, soon turns into a much deeper and far more engaging story about one man's journey of faith being tested by the apostate tendencies of the modern church. Well worth reading, with twists you'll never see coming and a message that may just hit very close to home if you've ever found yourself questioning your church.

Honestly, I usually don't leave reviews. Actually I usually don't think twice about a book once I've finished it. But this book. It was a journey, it can make you think and wonder. I'm not an avid book reader, I'm 22 and usually spend most of my time on facebook, but I couldn't stop reading. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS book. A great mystery novel! If I could read it again knowing how great it would be trust me I would.

This book starts off slowly and accelerates to the end. It demonstrates amazing insight into the sights, sounds and emotions of ministry and reminds me that ... "greater is HE that is in me than he that is in the world! "
