I have read other series by this author but this is my favorite. I love that it takes place in Salem and involves the supernatural. The whole premise behind the podcast is awesome and I like that it involves opposing views. I would recommend this series. Skeptic in Salem: An Episode of Crime is the second book in the Dubious Witch Cozy Mystery series. I really enjoyed this cozy mystery and found the character of Mia Bold has good character development. The story is entertaining and has humour, death, a haunting, mystery, and suspense. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

Mia seems to have developed a following, and not in a good way. A group of so called protectors has decided she is a threat to Salem and its reputation. Do all its members really have the good of the community at heart? Johnny Astor is a flamboyant co-host and the paranormal series with Mia. Is he after his own success, bringing her down, or taking Mia out on a date? Throw in some more neutral responses by Mia about debunking the paranormal, a sexy Cafe Noir proprietor and some wacky folks of a variety of descriptions with dubious or lethal intent- it all adds up to a great read that leaves you looking forward to what happens next!
