Menurut masyarakat yang tidak melaksanakan tradisi tersebut bahwasanya mereka menganggap air sumur berkah dapat bermanfaat dan berkhasiat adalah sebuah mitos belaka serta termasuk ke dalam perbuatan khurafat.
