Awesome book. It was a massive emotional roller coaster. This book made be both scream out loud out of pure excitement and out of sorrow. Then as a huge fan of the Dark Forest I like that we got to learn more about some of its inhabitants. In adition to this I love that it touched on many of the problems I have with the Clans' reasoning when it comes to the Code and their actions in general. I can't say much more without giving away too much, so I'll end by saying that this was a great ending to the arc, and I am hopeful for what the future books will bring.

The book was great. Granted it's the last book in TBC, it wastes no time continuing on from where The Place of No Stars ended and staying on that high-tension path. The return of old characters is something I'm always glad to read, and the way some are written is delightful. The ending was not at all what I was expecting, and while it to some degree frustrated and saddened me, I can guarantee that most readers will find some sort of satisfaction in the finale to this roller coaster of a read.

Loved the book, as I've loved every book from the Warriors series since I've started reading them nearly 10 years ago. Although I was sad by how it ended, it was very unexpected and I enjoyed every second of this book, bringing me to tears by the end of it.
