This was a great book, but I think the relationship between Twigbranch and Flypaw should've been shown more. It disappointed me when I noticed that Flypaw seemed more well-behaved all of a sudden. It just came out of the blue, and it seemed that Twigbranch had finally gotten better with her mentoring skills "off-screen". I also feel that background/minor characters should have a little more personality, and should have more complex relationships with other cats in the Clan. That was clearly shown in the first series of Warriors and almost every cat had a unique personality. Now, it's just dull. It's like the cats are just there to be in the Clan; so the battles can be well-fought or something like that. If the minor characters had some personality and more complex relationships, then I think the books would get more interesting along with the plots. Relationships like Twigbranch's and Flypaw's should also be shown more, too.

It was a great book all in all and I loved it. would definitely recommend although if you have read all the other books you should read this one anyway. can't wait for the broken code book 1.
