About this ebook

A small but brave squirrel. An annual tournament. And threats from a dark challenger.

If you like talking animals, epic sword fights and exciting adventures, then you’ll love The Squirrel Squire. This chapter book deals with themes including bravery, courage, fear and loss. Perfect for fans of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Redwall by Brian Jacques and The Green Ember by S.D. Smith, along with other fantasy series including The Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander.

Cute little middle grade story with a pretty good message. Was a bit surprised at some of the darker portions though. The park, a little world of squirrels and young Puff, the little gray squirrel, the knight's squire and his friends. Likeable little squirrels indeed. The cover is delectable. I received an eARC from the author via Booksprout and chose to post a review.
