Ratings and reviews

Why is this listed in non-fiction when it is clearly science-fantasy? I read this decades ago and as a scholarly work, it doesnt even come close to The Silmarilion by Tolkien. Also, Tolkien doesnt try to insist that his fantasy work is a true to life representation of history.

Sold has a Hard Science proof of the existence of Aliens. Where are the numbers to back anything written here? How can something be hard science and not having math to explain it? This is great as an exercise in imagination, as piece of entertainment, nothing more. Like, say, the theory that the earth is flat or that alien have abducted US citizens and anal proved them. Or that Covid-19 was a product of laboratory. The problem is that the ability to mass communicate is no longer in the hands of a few. We've given the fire to morons.

I bought this book, and now it is no longer in my library. I had been having trouble reading it because it would say; cannot display page, and now I don't have it at all. Don't waste your money.

Erich von Däniken is arguably the most widely read and most-copied nonfiction author in the world. He published his first (and best-known) book, Chariots of the Gods, in 1968. The worldwide best-seller and was followed by 32 more books, including The Eyes of the Sphinx, Twilight of the Gods, History Is Wrong, Evidence of the Gods, and Odyssey of the Gods. His works have been translated into 28 languages and have sold more than 63 million copies. Several have also been made into films. Von Däniken's ideas have been the inspiration for a wide range of TV series, including the History Channel's hit Ancient Aliens.
