About the author

Born and raised in Denver, CO., Eric Warner successfully completed a degree in German Studies at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR, before pursuing a formal education in Brewing Science in Germany. After three years of extensive brewery, lab and course work, Warner was awarded the degree ‘Diplom-Braumeister’ from the Technical University of Munich at Weihenstephan. Author of German Wheat Beer, a Classic Beer Style Series book, Warner worked in the US and in Europe at several breweries and visited scores of others. Most notably he worked at Denver’s famed Wynkoop Brewing Co. and at the well-regarded Flying Dog Brewery in Colorado for a decade. Warner is the current Master Brewer at Karbach Brewing Co. in Texas.
